About Jenna
From performing rudimentary trapeze skills in the circus and starring as Peter Pan at Blackpool Tower Circus, to practising pre-school music classes with puppets; from writing children’s picture books and delivering interactive author workshops in schools, to clowning around at weekend birthday parties as her alter ego, Minnie The Clown, and performing in musicals — it’s no surprise that Jenna comes from a family of performers and singers!
Originally from Blackpool in Lancashire, England, Jenna lived in London for over 10 years, where she met her Australian husband, Brett. Brett’s family farm and their much-loved dog inspired Jenna’s children’s picture book, Ben The Outside Dog.
Jenna is now based in Melbourne with Brett and their two beautiful girls, bringing her passion for creativity, imagination and children’s entertainment to families across Australia.
You can also find regular fun kids’ videos featuring Jenna and her daughters on her YouTube Channel.
Jenna is passionate about all aspects of the arts and is a strong believer in developing and encouraging children’s imaginations. She has built her career around creating fun, engaging and imaginative experiences for children.
Jenna is a published author of Ben The Outside Dog, runs her own children’s entertainment company, Minnie Entertainment, teaches dance to children, and is a pre-school music practitioner and storyteller with Minnie Music, delivering interactive music and storytelling sessions throughout kindergartens and childcare centres in Melbourne.
Through her many creative roles, Jenna loves inspiring children to sing, dance, imagine, perform, laugh and — most importantly — have fun!
